Having the ugly distorted spring logo on my desktop for a while next to the pretty AFLobby and Spring Lobby icons, I knew I needed to do something about it. So I redid the spring icon, and Satirik adopted the icon, and made a new splash screen to suite.
I’ve been cleaning up and fixing NTai ready for applying for my placement year. I’ve started moving things around making everything work with common sense, and undoing a lot of foobarred stuff I coded half asleep.
TA3D 0.4.1 Released
0.4.1 has been released. New users be sure to pull out your old TA cds (or torrent them because you got scratches), TA3D needs an OTA (original total annihilation) install.
Fibre 1.0
An arguement was brewing over spring mods and the chain and ball that was the OTA resource model. Some declared the OTA resource model as holding back all mods in the spring engine, whereas some thought that this was nonsense.

Prometheus Grounds TA
Modellers and texturers in the spring community have been remodelling the Total Annihilation units to bring them up to modern standards. An example of this is the core slasher remodel and texture, the latest in a long line of high quality units from Mr.D, which is shown on the right.
TA3D Hosting and New Release
The people at the TA3D project have moved from their old sourceforge hosting, and are now hosted on this server at http://ta3d.darkstars.co.uk .
